Ran Katz
Born and raised in a kibbutz in Israel, today I live with my family in the Minho region, in the north of Portugal. I have worked all my life in Agriculture and have knowledge ranging from gardening to aquaculture. I have always been fascinated by bees and have been taking care of bees naturally for over 10 years, since then I have been practicing Apitherapy.
I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine for 4 years and I am very dedicated to the study of the Elements, the world of Plants, Creativity and Art.

Faz já 12 que anos que escolhi o Minho para viver, e é no meio deste verde que desenvolvo a minha prática como herbalista, artista e educadora.
Apaixonada pelo design editorial e pela ilustração dei continuidade aos meus talentos através do estudo da botânica, da prática com plantas medicinais, que aprendi em primeira mão com mestres herbalistas, e hoje dedico-me também ao ensino da ecologia a adultos e crianças. Sou autora e ilustradora do Guia Artesanal das Plantas Selvagens e do Caderno de Receitas Espontâneas assim como edito regularmente cadernos de autor nas temáticas de herbalismo, cultivo e propagação de plantas, cozinha viva, entre outros.
